New Job

I am pleased to report that I have been offered a job at the Ministry, with the Department of International Magical Relations. I have accepted a position as a clerk with the International Magical Trading Standards Body (the office involved with imports and exports).

The job starts Monday.

Yes, and it is a job at the Ministry, at least. Which is something.

Only it's a good thing we planned for you to continue living at home for a while, I reckon. I mean, clerk in an office inside one of the smaller departments, well ... starting wage probably isn't as much as you hoped, is it?

No, I'm afraid not. I will have to pin my hopes on the promotion down the line once I've had a chance to prove myself.
