I found out today that Mr Malfoy has bespoken practically all my time tomorrow. I'm to represent his office at a number of Freedom Day events throughot the day and into the evening. I"m afraid this means I won't be free to work on arranging things at the flat, or doing any of the shopping we planned. And I won't be able to escort you to any of the Freedom Festival events.

I'm really sorry.

I think your time would be better spent at the flat or shopping, to be honest. I don't think you'd have much interest in the Freedom Day reception at the Bureau of Weights and Measures. Among other things.

If you go shopping, just pick what you like. I trust your judgement.

Did you find out whether your mum had an extra table in the attic, after all? We need chairs, too.

And a proper sofa, and more bookshelves. Unless you're willing to keep some boxes down in the storage lockup in the cellar?

I still have to check the attic; haven't had time yet. Mum is going to check on extra furniture through the barter network. I'm not sure I quite like that idea; she might dig up something truly horrendous and expect us to use it.

I really don't want books in the cellar because of the risk of mould. As for the Lockhart, if you go through and keep whichever set has the marginalia notes, that would be fine. But put the other set aside for me, and I'll see if I can find a used bookstore to take them.

Well, to be perfectly honest, I was going to look in some second-hand shops for the sofa and all. There're some places near Picadilly that have decent used stuff--nothing that's not clean or anything. But I have to agree about the barter network! I mean, some of the things people try to trade are really dodgy.

I don't know about the bookshops. I actually asked at MacGhille's in Hogsmeade a couple years ago, about selling the Lockharts, but he wouldn't even take them, much less buy them. But it's not just the Lockhart set, Percy. Between the two of us we've got nearly two of every textbook and I was looking through your box and you've got your own Hogwarts, a History and so've I. And you've got the complete set of the Chronicles of Hartwick House--I've got them, too! Well, we can't get rid of mine, mine are signed.

Perce. You've got a whole box of Martin Miggs. Really?

Well, let's see what Mum comes up with for us. Some of the used stuff she finds is horrible, but some of it, particularly from estates, is really very superiour quality.

I don't have a whole box of Martin Miggs. Those are Ron's. I don't know how they got mixed up with my stuff.

Perhaps the twins did it to irk me. Wouldn't surprise me.
